Antique poster for the major festival of Paral·lel in the working-class neighbourhood of Poble-sec.

The neighbourhood is an urban district that stands between Montjuïc mountain and Avinguda del Paral·lel, the traditional street of musical theatres and cabarets. Nowadays, it has some of them, such as the mythical Teatro Apolo, the Teatro Condal, El Molino and the future opening of the Teatre Arnau.
