In 1924 Segrelles illustrated the poster for the Silver Anniversary of FC Barcelona and in 1929 won the Gold Medal in the category of Drawing at the Barcelona International Exhibition, being considered for decades as the best Spanish illustrator, both at home and abroad, for his work for American companies and newspapers.
